The Beechgrove Garden television series is filming the Ardentinny community’s Glenfinart Walled Garden at the end of July.
Cowal artist, Andy McClintock from Kilmun says that he was making a bench and various other bits and pieces so was excited to have a second visit from them on Friday last, 5th July.
Andy’s own scuplture garden – where visitors are welcome to drop in – is Lindsay Cottage at 19/20 Grahams Point in Kilmun.
Work of his is exhibited at the Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park at Colintraive in south west Cowal – Scotland’s first outdoor gallery – and was also in its inaugural exhibition last season.
And both last year and this, Andy McClintock’s contributions to the Caol Ruadh exhibitions have been amongst our personal favourites. They respond markedly to being placed in locations with which they can have a dialogue – as was the case in Caol Ruadh last year and this – as seen above.
